From a technical or stylistic POV, this isn't a particularly well-made documentary. What it is is one helluva wild & crazy story.
The film is as tasteful as possible, given its subject matter. Annabel Chong (Grace Quek) is an exceptionally complex human being: highly intelligent yet... Watching the film's like being tweaked up on crystal meth - the first half's hyper-frenetic & luridly self-congratulatory, but then the "come-down" comes. And when it does, it hits hard. All that being said, it's still a film that deserves to be seen & contemplated.
